Architecture
The ALAW® iPBX architecture is based on two building blocks :
- the iPBX itself, which can be either physically located in your premisses, or hosted and mutualized in a remote and secured hosting facility, or both.
- the connection to the legacy telephone network, which can again be either terminated in your premisses, or hosted and mutualized in a remote and secured hosting facility, or both.
The choice between the four possibilities depends mainly of your needs and present infrastructure.

Telephone sets, both wired or wireless, can be analog, IP based or Computer based (softphone).
Local connection to a PSTN network is used for premium quality calls, backup and emergency calls.
Internet based Telecom Operators are used for low cost, medium to high quality calls and increased parallel calls possibilities
